NW Zephyr Consent & Privacy Notice

This Consent & Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how NW Zephyr (“NW Zephyr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects data when you connect your Amazon Advertising account and/or related Amazon accounts to our services (the “Service”).

If you do not agree with this Notice, do not authorize access and do not use the Service.

1) Who We Are

NW Zephyr provides software and services that help users analyze, monitor, and manage advertising performance and related business insights for e-commerce platforms.

2) What You Are Consenting To

When you authorize NW Zephyr via Amazon’s authorization flow (e.g., OAuth / Login with Amazon), you are allowing NW Zephyr to access data made available through Amazon APIs that you connect to the Service, including Amazon Advertising APIs (and, if you choose, other Amazon-related APIs).

You can revoke this authorization at any time (see “Your Choices” below).

3) Data We May Access and Process

Depending on what you connect and what you enable in the Service, we may access and process the following categories of data:

Amazon Advertising data (typical):

  • Advertising account/profile identifiers (e.g., advertising profile, marketplace context)

  • Campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords/targets, bids, budgets, settings

  • Performance/reporting metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, spend, sales, conversions, attributed metrics where available)

  • Creative/ad content metadata where provided by the API

Operational and support data:

  • Basic account information you provide to NW Zephyr (e.g., name, email)

  • Logs and diagnostics (e.g., timestamps, API request identifiers, error messages)

We do not collect your Amazon password. Authorization is handled by Amazon’s login/consent flow.

4) How We Use the Data

We use the data we access to:

  • Provide dashboards, reporting, analytics, and visualizations

  • Provide optimization insights and recommendations

  • Perform optional automated actions you enable (e.g., bid or budget adjustments), where supported

  • Provide customer support, troubleshooting, and service operations

  • Improve reliability, security, and functionality of the Service

We do not use your connected data to advertise to you, and we do not sell your connected data.

5) Data Sharing and Disclosures

We do not sell your data.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, database, logging, analytics, customer support tools). They may process data only to provide services to us and must protect it.

  • Legal: If required to comply with law, regulation, court order, or lawful request.

  • Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (you will remain protected under a notice like this, and any successor will be bound to protect your data).

  • With Your Consent: If you explicitly agree to a specific sharing request.

6) Data Retention

We retain connected data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legitimate business needs (such as maintaining records, preventing fraud/abuse, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations).

You may request deletion of your data by emailing support@nwzephyr.com. We will make reasonable efforts to delete or de-identify your data within a commercially reasonable timeframe, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information (such as access controls and encryption in transit where applicable). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Your Choices (Revoking Access, Deleting Data)

You can:

  1. Revoke Amazon authorization (through Amazon’s account/app authorization settings where available), and/or

  2. Contact us at support@nwzephyr.com to request assistance with revocation, data export, or deletion.

Revoking access may stop future data pulls and may limit or disable Service functionality.

9) International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

10) Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Relationship With Amazon

NW Zephyr is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. “Amazon” and “Amazon Advertising” are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

12) Disclaimer (As-Is / No Guarantee)

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Advertising platforms and APIs may change, be delayed, or be unavailable. We do not guarantee specific advertising performance or business outcomes. You are responsible for any decisions and actions you take based on the Service, including changes to bids, budgets, targeting, and campaigns.
